I run into her alot and I can’t stomach her. She also sent him a recent text about their friendship. Should I just get a Divorce? What do I do? I always feel like he is cheating. He said they never had sex. Soooooo Confused!!!!

When two people settle divorce out of court does that mean they aren’t legally divorced? Would there be a record of this if you wanted to see it. I have been talking with a guy on facebook and he says he is divorced now for 7 years. I have checked all court houses in the area he lives and there is no record. He now tells me they settled out of court

What are the reasons to hire a PI?? The obvious would be to try to catch me cheating. Which I am not and have not through our marraige. But what else could he be looking for? I live in Michigan and we have no fault divorce here. It doesnt matter the reason as long as you both agree that it is over.

My soon to be ex hired a private investigator and is notating everything through his lawyer.

I am a stay at home mom that does nothing all that exciting. What is he hoping to find?? Is the PI watching me and my kids behavior?? Do they check out past records and present??

Mostly I know that I have nothing to hide, but he really has me shaken up to think he has hired a PI.

My husband has been very irresponsible with money lately, spending almost $400 on music related items within days. The credit card is nearly maxed, so I took it and put it away until he can pay it off. He gets paid on Thursday so I planned to give it back Thursday morning when I know he can pay it off.

Normally, something like this wouldn’t concern me so much, but his dad is arriving on Friday and we have to pay $225 for a mattress for him to sleep on, and I’m due in 2 1/2 weeks with our second child, so you can see where my concern about his spending is coming from.

I feel very sad to say that I do not trust my own husband not to spend money or to keep his word. I really wish I could say that, but I can’t. Two days ago he waltzed into the bedroom at 10pm and announced he had spent $200 (before taxes, shipping and exchange rates) on vinyl records, just days after he spent $150 on two other vinyl records. He said it was okay because he wouldn’t be spending anymore money on music related things until after Christmas. I knew I couldn’t trust him, and I was right, because he turned around and bought some music tonight.

Well, he discovered his credit card was missing. I told him I have it, it is in our bedroom and he can have it back on Thursday morning when he can pay it off. It is $100 away from maxed out. This apparently isn’t good enough for him, as he began sulking, throwing a fit, started a huge fight and is now threatening divorce, claiming he’ll be in contact with lawyers in the morning if I don’t give the credit card back tonight.

He says he can no longer trust me. He has also called me a neglectful mother (we have a 20 month old daughter), an untrustworthy wife, and now I’m apparently a thief and I’m cheating on him (which I am not, never have and never would).

I love him, and I took his card to protect our family and make sure that we have that money available for emergencies only, but now he wants to leave me and get a divorce. He’s already walked out on us twice since yesterday.

I don’t know what to do. Any advice?
Short, yes I am sure he is not bi-polar.

As for calling a lawyer, I can’t and won’t do that. I made a vow and I love him. I fight for my marriage, even if it means another round of counselling for us.

I had my divorce papers served to my ex, they were returned back to me because, I guess, he moved to a different county. I have two questions. First do I HAVE to do anything further with his paper work, or have I done my part in having them served. Two, IF I do have try again, can I just send them to his parents house, since that’s the only other address I know?
Our first mediation meeting is on the 2nd of Nov., so, to be honest, I want him to miss the meeting (this guy’s a piece of crap (criminal records and domestic violence issues) and I’m trying to do anything I can to keep him away from my daughter and me) if it’ll make the case run smoother on my part
ps I had the papers served by a county Sheriff

We were both ordered to take a class. for childs sake. Just educating to not takethe divorce out on our daughter.
I was looking at my court records today online
and it said – not in these exact words.
But i has that I took the court class. and then it says.
6-6-07 – Intervention ATTY GEN OF TX

What does that mean? B/c I did get the attorney general b/c of child support. he was not paying. So any suggestions what the intervention thing is?

About a year and a half ago my husband came home from work late, told me he wasnt in love with me anymore and wanted a divorce, I told him he wasnt trapped and he could leave if he wasnt happy. Then he got a bag of things and left. I was 8 months pregnant. He was gone for 4 months in which he had an affair.

I did not know about the affair and asked him to attend marriage counceling while his affair was going on. He did go with me but lied about being involved with anyone when our counceler asked him. I allowed him to move back in, the affair still unknown. Later I found cell phone records, he was still contacting her. We have since moved states, no more contact.

Despite my pain. I decided to give the marriage some time. I read stories that sometimes affairs made marriages stronger. But over one year later, I am very unhappy. Every time I need something from him for my recovery it is like pulling teeth. He says I am demanding and that he doesent want to argue.
